This I ask
Oh God the Father,
I come before you shaking and in fear.
Remind me again and again how loved I am when I tell myself otherwise.
Heal me in places I need healing.
Take away from me all anxiety, stress, illness of the body and fear of failing.
Arc angel Gabriel, you are my patron saint. You came to my blessed Mother with wonderful news. Your first words to her though were "Be not afraid." I need you to speak these words to me. I need you to pack for me this crippling fear.
LORD, free me of all that is not of you.
Send your Holy Spirit to breathe down on me and make me still.
Tonight is not about me, God. It is about you.
Fill me with your everlasting peace.
Place on my tongue, words of healing.
Open me to your Holy Spirit, Lord.
This I need.
