Pope John Paul II

Tonight my family and I watched the movie Pope John Paul II.

Though I have seen this movie I still say...

Wow!

The way that man lived his life was unbelievable.

I had  to stop and ask myself if my "problems" are even worth worrying over when I compare it to everything he lived through.

How can I make my dream a reality of living my life as he did?

I have always had a special place for this beautiful pope in my heart.

How blessed I am to be Catholic and to have grown in my faith with him as a shepherd.

Lord, come into both my heart and my life as you did Pope John Paul II's.

Help me to forgive as he did, love as he did, and give freely as he did.

I ask not to be him but be like him as he set the example of walking in your footsteps.

To give myself freely and most willingly to you.

To love you above all else.
