Time to Love

This morning, after a night of restless sleep, I awoke and read,

"Do not be saddened this day, for rejoicing in the Lord must be your strength!" Nehemiah 8:10 

Yesterday I was very anxious.

I was trying to perfect a plan.

I realized we were supposed to be returning home from our pilgrimage...

On top of that, water started coming through our basement ceiling light fixture...

And people I love were experiencing heartache.

Which meant I experienced heartache with them and for them.

The timing of things in life are hard to understand sometimes.

The little things like making plans and the water coming through the celling, weren't as important.

"For some, "Time is money," but you must be convinced that time is heaven, time is love."

We are all passing through in this life. We're all in this together. 

We can't prevent bad things from happening but we can love with the time we are given. 

We have only to say 'yes' and begin our heaven on earth by loving. 

"Ever since you said yes, time has broadened your horizons, giving them new and brighter colors and making them more beautiful everyday. But you have to continue saying 'yes'."

God is perfecting His plan for us. 

"The problems of this life are temporary, but the kingdom of heaven lasts forever. Rejoice and be glad!"
