Be Not Afraid

The spirit of the Lord God is upon me,/ because the Lord has anointed me; He has sent me to bring glad tidings to the lowly,/ to heal the brokenhearted,/ To proclaim liberty to the captives/ and release to the prisoners,/ To announce a year of favor from the Lord/ and a day of vindication by our God,/ to comfort all who mourn. Isaiah 61:1-2

We are all called to invite the Spirit of the Lord into our lives.

Now, especially, in a desperate world.

We need to lift of up the lowly and to heal the brokenhearted.

To give hope to the hopeless and to comfort those who mourn.

We are all in need of healing.

During this time of suffering in our world, we are given the opportunity to encourage one another.

It's a difficult time to do this but it is also the most important time to do this.

No one can do this life alone. Especially, when faced with so much evil.

We need each other and we need Jesus.

He is our light. He encourages us to keep the faith. To wait and to look for the Resurrection.

To be not afraid.

Though, we are not together in person, we are together in Spirit.

By our own blood, O Lord, you have brought near all who were far away. Ephesians 2:13
