Always for Jesus

Laetetur cor quaerentium Dominum!—when you seek the Lordyour heart always overflows with happiness."
St. Josemaria Escriva

We all desire happiness. However, who, what and where do we seek it?

"Mary gives us an example of a modest and secluded life. Yet, she was always accessible to others. She kept a low profile, living quietly in the background, but always for Jesus."
Francis Xavier Nguyen Van Thuan

So many things in this life make us happy but for how long?

Mary's example is of authentic happiness. She does not seek herself, but others and to do the will of her Son.

"Lord, all for love of you, all for you in the person of my neighbor. I do not desire to reserve anything for myself. I do not desire anyone to thank me. I do not desire any reward."
 Francis Xavier Nguyen Van Than

Seeking the good in the bad. Seeking the light in the darkness. Seeking authenticity.
Seeking Jesus.

Offer to God the sacrifices of praise and thanksgiving. Psalm 49:9-14

"Jesus claims no more from us; He does not need our works, only our love."
St. Therese, Story of a Soul

Happiness can not be found in what we "do."

"Rejoice at your success, but thank God when someone else is more successful than you." Francis Xavier Nguyen Van Than

Happiness is found in humility and gratitude, always for Jesus.

"Give thanks to God that you are happy, with a deep joy which has no need to be noisy."

 St. Josemaria Escriva
