Merciful Love

"You expired, Jesus, but the source of life gushed forth for souls, and the ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world. O Fount of Life, unfathomable Divine Mercy, envelop the whole world and empty Yourself out upon us." St. Faustina Diary 1319

Today is Divine Mercy Sunday!

Jesus desires to pour into us His Merciful Love, a love so unfathomable!

He thirsts for you and for me.

“My Heart hath expected reproach and misery. And I looked for one that would grieve together with Me, but there was none: and for one that would comfort Me, and I found none.” (Psalm 69:20)

We are invited to console His heart. Not because He needs consolation but because He gives it.

"I would so much like to love God...to love Him more than He has ever been loved."
St. Therese, Story of a Soul

To trust Him and to believe in His mercy. To accept and receive His Merciful Love.

“O my Lord, inflame my heart with love for You, that my spirit may not grow weary amidst the storms, the sufferings and the trials. You see how weak I am. Love can do all." St. Faustina

Jesus, we are in most need of your mercy, especially during this Pandemic. Remind us of your love and help us persevere in faith.

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fount of mercy for us,
I trust in You! St. Faustina Diary 84

Merciful Father, teach us to trust and to continue trusting.

"If you truly live the Little Way, if you recognize the darkness of your littleness, keep trying to grow in holiness, and trust in the Lord's mercy- then you will become a saint." Fr. Michael E. Gaily

It's an invitation to immerse ourselves in his ocean of mercy.

"He is waiting for you when nothing else you find satisfies you, he is the beauty to which you are so attracted.... It is he who reads in your hearts your most genuine choices, the choices that others try to stifle."
Pope Saint John Paul II
