It's a Mood
The wifi reception is driving me crazy.
It's been difficult to blog and to access the internet.
I don't think I am the only one experiencing frustration though.
Today I took time to read and this is where my inspiration came from:
From A Story of a Soul, St. Therese of Liseux describes a fellow sister who kept splashing her with dirty laundry water. St. Therese wanted to wipe her face to send a signal that the other sister should be more careful. St. Therese decided not to act with her first reaction. Instead, she thought, "Why be foolish enough to refuse treasures offered so generously?" She also wrote about another moment of irritation, explaining how she chose to make the choice to practice patience out of love for God and not to hurt anyone's feelings.
Wow! St. Therese welcomed her irritations and gifted them to God.
There will still be moments that are upsetting...Big or small...
The wifi, quarantine, social distancing, things not going the right way are all moods.
However, all is gift. Even when it doesn't seem like it.
