Maui Magic

Our favorite thing we did in Maui was the Warren and Annabelle Magic Show!

We scheduled the magic show ahead of time and made reservations.

We bought our Hawaiian bead necklaces to wear for the show.

When we got there they put us in a dark escape room. We had to figure out how to get into Warren and Annabelle's. We unlocked the secret door, with maybe some help from someone else who had done it before.

We had cocktail hour first and the magic show second.

While we waited for the show, Annabelle "the ghost pianist" took requests of songs to play on the piano. Super weird.

It was then time for the show!

The magicians were incredible! Fabulous at engaging the crowd and keeping our attention!

We laughed so hard and cried from laughing!

The magician started talking to a raspy voiced older woman from the crowd but she told him she had a "sore throat." She thought that was going to give her "a get out of jail free card" but the magician continued questioning her. He asked her what her occupation was. She replied, "Retired."
This poor lady was only giving short answers, obviously, because of her sore throat. Did the magician leave her alone? No, he asked her what she retired from. "Ski. Area." The magician asked her to clarify, "Retired from the ski area?" The crowd was rolling laughing. She said in two short words, "Take. Tickets." We couldn't help but laugh as the magician is repeating into the microphone everything she tries to say. He told her to feel better and to enjoy her retirement. He then moved on and began conversing with someone else.

A gentleman was called out by the magician, but could not understand what he was being asked because he was from Israel and didn't know what the magician was saying.

The magician asked him, "Can people not hear in Israel?"

Then a young lady who didn't speak English very well was brought up on stage for a card trick. She was asked to tell what her card was and she said, "Clubs, two, black." He made a Yoda reference for a joke.

Writing this and reading it may sound pretty heartless but the magician was joking and having fun.

If you want to experience the Magic, I recommend going to the magic show while in Maui!
But since no one is going there as of now, check out one of the magicians that entertained us.

"We can choose to function at a lower level of awareness and simply exist, caring for our possessions, eating, drinking, sleeping and managing in the world as pawns of the elements, or we can soar to new and higher levels of awareness allowing ourselves to transcend our environment and literally create a world of our own -- a world of real magic."
