Shalom

Shalom! Meaning, peace be with you!

Words spoken from Jesus's lips after the Resurrection.

Jesus didn't look for revenge on those who killed him.

Jesus didn't guilt his followers for abandoning him.

He just said,  Peace be with you.

When I hear those words, a calm floods through my body.

Words we all desire, especially during this pandemic.

Shalom, Peace be with you.

But there will never be peace on earth without first finding peace within.

Don't dwell on what was done or what is to come.

In other words, do not focus on the storm.

Do not fear.

"I believe that love is more important than fear."
Bl. Chiara Luce Badano

Receive the peace Jesus wants to give.

 His mercy and love.

Shalom!

"Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God. Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father."

Colossians 3:15-17
