The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.
Be patient with the Lord just as He is patient with you. Do not wish for your enemies to perish. The golden rule teaches us to treat others how we want to be treated. Shouldn't we want to love our neighbors as ourselves?
Spend your life doing good for others. Be selfless men and women of God. Grow in patience. Forgive and be forgiven.
The Lord is all good and merciful.
