Enduring Hope

"Jesus lives among us in the Eucharist... Amidst the uncertainties and distractions of daily life, imitate the disciples on the road to Emmaus... Call out to Jesus to remain with you always along the many roads to Emmaus of our times. May he be your strength, your point of reference, and your enduring hope."
(Pope St. John Paul II - Message for the Twelfth World Youth Day 1997, n.7)

We are in need of hope.

"Amidst the uncertainties and distractions of daily life."

Hope in our country, our world, our homes and in our hearts.

"We must abandon our future into the hands of God." St. Therese

Call out to Jesus.

"Moral of the story: we're not in control. God is.
Forget that and we'll lose our way and our lives to fear and anxiety."
Chris Stepien

Jesus, I trust in you!

"Jesus' dwelling is wherever a human person is suffering because rights are denied, hopes betrayed, anxieties ignored. There, in the midst of humankind, is the dwelling of Christ, who asks you to dry every tear in his name, and to remind whoever feels lonely that no one whose hope is placed in him is ever alone (cf. Mt 25:31-46)."
Pope St. John Paul II
