Leave the doing to Him

"Hold your eyes on God and leave the doing to Him. That is all the doing you have to worry about." St. Jane Frances de Chantal 

"Leave the doing to Him." 

That's hard. 

I love being in control. 

I love my plans.

I love doing things my way. 

But we are called to follow His way and "Leave the doing to Him." 

"Everyday I say to myself, today I will begin again."  St. Anthony of the Desert 

I surrender my worries and plans to God the Father.

My God, I give You this day. I offer You, now, all of the good that I shall do and I promise to accept, for love of You, all of the difficulty, that I shall meet. Help me to conduct myself, during this day in a manner pleasing to You. Amen.
