St. Padre Pio

Today is the feast of St. Pio Pietrelcina, also known as St. Padre Pio.

Padre Pio is an incredible saint.

I didn’t realize that until I grew older.

Some cool facts about him:

St. Padre Pio was a Capuchin Catholic Priest.

He had the stigmata, the wounds of Christ, bandaged in his hands.

St. Padre Pio was a mystic. He could bilocate (be in two places at once) and he could read souls.

He died in 1968, and his body is incorruptible. That means his body did not decay.

He has so many inspiring quotes and words of wisdom to live by.

I chose to quote him with these words,

“Suffering is a gift from God; blessed is he who knows how to profit by it.” St. Padre Pio

Christ in all things!
