Restful Waters
I wrote this poem nine years ago for a contest. I did not remember composing this. I was encouraged to share it with all of you. I hope it makes you smile.
Restful Waters
There she sat, like sand on a beach, with the sun kissing her fragile skin.
Her hair was lightly blowing in the breeze; her heart was simply at ease.
The girl could hear the ocean cry, and she could smell the fresh spring air.
She felt as cold as ice, although she knew He was there.
She looked up at the lighthouse, watching its glory shine.
She felt the presence of the Lord, and left her troubles behind.
She got up the courage to ask; she did not think twice.
Like Jesus walking on the water, He said all would be alright.

Maybe this will be a reminder for you, that everything will be alright. Whatever your facing or feeling, He is with you through restful waters.
This is beautiful, you truly have a gift. Thank you for sharing.
