Alive Again
Today is St. Augustine's feast day!

Because most of you won't go and visit the link above..here is my summary of him:
St. Augustine's mother, St. Monica, prayed and prayed and prayed for her son's conversion. Augustine drank, and partied. His sins of impurity and his pride blinded him from the Christian faith he was brought up in. His mother continued her prayers for her son.
Through St. Monica's devoted prayers and the words of St. Ambrose, Augustine finally became convinced that Christianity was the one true religion. He didn't become a Christian just then though because he didn't think he could live a pure life.
He asked for God's help and God answered him. Augustine opened up the Bible to the Letters of St. Paul and read, "to put away all impurity and to live in imitation of Jesus."
It was then made clear to Augustine that he needed to turn his life around and so he did. He became a priest, a bishop, a famous Catholic writer, a doctor of the Catholic Church and one of the greatest saints that ever lived.

St. Augustine speaks about his fulfillment he found in Christ Jesus and it Matt put it to music. It truly is beautiful.
