What defines your home?

Pope John Paul II is quoted in the book The Temperament God Gave You,

"...the atmosphere of the home must be acceptance, love and esteem."

What defines your home?

Are you and your loved ones constantly going through the motions?

If you're always shouting, always rushing, always focusing on the negative, than your atmosphere needs to change.

It is easy to forget how to create and keep a healthy atmosphere.

Following these three key words however will transform the house into a home.

Those who feel accepted, loved and respected will mirror how they are treated.

A rigid atmosphere can become a joyful environment when treated properly.

But why just our homes?

Make everywhere you go your home.

The atmosphere of the home can grow into the atmosphere of our communities, churches, and work places.

May we all treat one another in these ways.

Accepting our neighbors.

Loving our enemies.

Respecting others.

Open your hearts.

Build up, instead of tearing down.
