July 5th

Yesterday was a beautiful day to celebrate! Perfect temperature, families gathered together, meeting up with great friends, delicious food, fun activities and fireworks that lit up the sky. This is just a small taste of what my fourth of July entailed.

The fourth reminds us to be grateful and proud of our home, America. However the fourth isn't the only day we should show our 'Murica pride. We should put our gratitude and love of our country into practice each and every day! Why? Because this land is too great to not be thankful to God for.

At times it may seem hard to be thankful because of what the media puts in our minds about our country falling apart. But that is why we need to step it up. Take a stand for the soil that our loved ones have fought and are fighting for so that you and I could be here today. Freedom doesn't come cheap so take your part in making this country worth fighting for.

O beautiful for spacious skies, 
For amber waves of grain, 
For purple mountain majesties 
Above the fruited plain! 
America! America! 
God shed his grace on thee 
And crown thy good with brotherhood 
From sea to shining sea!
