Called to share His love

At mass last night Father's homily really caught my attention.

If 100 people shared Christ's love to five people, 500 lives would experience  the love of Christ.

If each of those 500 people reached out to five different people, there would be 2,500 lives receiving and spreading the love of Christ.

It's a ripple effect.

I was blown away with how little effort would make such a difference.

Imagine if a lot of effort was put into it! How much greater the difference would be!

It's truly amazing!

We have all the sources and we have the ability, we just have to make the choice to put Christ's love into action.

It's really quite easy. It's the making the decision  to spread Jesus's love and sticking with it that can be difficult.

Just about everyone on earth knows of Jesus. Whether they believe in Him or not, they know His name.

We don't have to have high education in theology to put on the coat of Christ. Though it wouldn't hurt to be educated... ;)

We just have to be our best selves and live and do everything in love.

We're not called to preach at or judge people.

We are called to love.

I challenge everyone, self included, to touch five lives through Jesus Christ.

Whether it be in a good example, a compliment, smile, facebook post, prayer, or act of kindness, may it be done in love.

For those of us who have facebook, we all at least, AT LEAST, have 200 friends. I know differences can be made and just by staying positive.

Reach out to others by sharing the love of our Father in heaven.
