Love is

Love is not simple. Nor is it easy.

However love is the best thing that ever happened to us.

For if it weren't for love we would not have been created by God. 

Then what makes love so difficult?

No, who makes love so difficult?

We do.

As human beings we tend to test one another's love.

We look for signs of failure and success in our friendships and relationships.

A lot of the time both these actions hurt.

But that is because the ones we love so much are the ones most likely to hurt us.

When Jordan left for New York I hurt. I hurt because someone I felt so deeply for and felt so close to was leaving. My heart's "other half" was moving to the other side of the country! You can imagine the heart strings being pulled though I couldn't be happier for her.

Something we will all have to deal with or have dealt with in our lifetime is death. 

After death a hole remains forever in one's heart. Mourning is never easy and simply one does not ever get over that missed loved soul. However the ones we love who have gone to be with our Father in Heaven are being given more love than we could ever have given them ourselves.

Love is hard. Yet if it were a breeze we'd never learn or experience what true love is.

Broken relationships are devastating. But through the tears healing is found and understanding what was misunderstood brings peace.

We should ask ourselves what love is. Not what we want it to be or what society says it is, but what God tells us it is.

  

Love can be all these things if we only put them into action.
