Surprise!

Wait for it....THE SURPRISE! ~ Mom and Dad told us girls that Mom was going to have a baby! Oh, the excitement and shock! I think a lot of prayers from those around us were praying it would be a boy. People sort of felt sorry for my dad for being surrounded by all these girls. I'm not bitter. ;) Well Dad is the Charles Ingalls kind of guy. He loves his girls. Right, dad? Pa prayed for a healthy baby not caring whether it was a boy or another girl.

We were anxiously waiting for the ultra sound to give us the final answer. Boy or girl? I don't think their was a third option... Mom and Dad called us kids back and home and told us...

It's a BOY!!

We all squealed, screamed, jumped and ran. Not necessarily in that order but you get the picture that we were excited! Even though The Little Women wouldn't be just The Little Women anymore. We now had our Little Man.

Back in the ultra sound room Mom and Dad were asking the ultra sound technicians to check again. Yup, it was a boy. We all couldn't believe it!  

At the end of those long nine months, (Poor Mother) the one that now keeps us all on our toes either chasing him or being chased, Maximilian Joseph Rehder came into our lives!

Giving God thanks every day for my little buddy's life. Max a million dollars you'll always be my little man no matter how big you get!
