King and Healer
I had in mind another blog post for today but I won't be posting it.
Instead today, I woke up from an afternoon nap, went on facebook and saw that the baby girl I have been mothering through prayer is in need of a miracle. And fast.
Her name is Emma Claire,
This was today's post on her facebook prayer page.
We really need your prayers.
Today's X-ray shows that Emma once again has fluid around her right lung. She only has a left chest tube right now which has a blockage and is no longer draining (instead it's leaking out around the site).
They don't want to have to put another one in if they don't have to since it requires anesthesia. So they are going to leave it in for now and let it leak. But if the fluid doesn't resolve by the end of this week, they'll put another one in and do a heart catheterization at the same time. This would likely mean they would need to put a stent in, which they've really been trying to avoid because of the long term problems it can cause. Please pray that her heart, pulmonary arteries, SVC, and lungs would do what they are supposed to do so she doesn't need any more intervention right now. We have seen God work so many miracles throughout Emma's life, and we are believing for another one.
Also, Emma has extremely fussy and upset today and they just found blood in her stools. Please pray for her comfort and that the team would be able to figure out the cause of the blood.
I am asking all of you who read this to just say from your lips "Lord, heal Emma" if it's your only prayer for her.
I am knocking on heaven's door, seeking with your help, and asking Jesus, Christ our King to perform in Emma Claire a miracle.
Jesus is our King. But he's not for show. His crown was made of thorns. He suffered for his people. He cried and still cries with his people. His love for his people is so great that he suffered the most crucial death. What kind of king is this? The best kind!
Pope Francis says, "We must smell like the sheep!" Jesus, our shepherd, our King; smelt like the sheep! He came to live among us and for us. He worked hard for his people. He healed his people.
Yes, this is our King! The Healer!
May all our prayers carry the cross for this baby girl.
Her beautiful heart we pray for it to work the way it is suppose to!
We pray her pulmonary arteries, SVC and lungs would be healed and do what they are suppose to!
We pray that the leaking stops in the most holy name of Jesus!
We pray that the tests they continue to run have positive results of her healing!
We pray with expectation of witnessing your miracles in your child, LORD!
In healing her body of all things that need healing! For her parents, for strength and for peace!
We lift these prayers to You King and Healer!
