Season of Hope

As this first week of Advent begins, we focus on the gift of hope.

"Hope is not a feeling or an emotion, but a conviction that comes from knowing we are loved by God."
 - Monsignor Geno Sylva

We are loved and given the gift to be hope for the hopeless.

Hope is found by putting others first and being attentive to their needs.

"Hope is pushing past the impossible and dissipating our fears."
- unknown

It takes courage and faith to let hope happen,

"Hope is not merely a wish that something good might happen -  it is the firm confidence and desire that the promise of God will be fulfilled."
- Sister Miriam James Heidland

Hope is me and you working together to fill the hearts of the hopeless.

Blessed and Hope-filled Advent!
